Senators Chuck Schumer, Ron Wyden and Cory Booker drafted a drafted a bill proposal today to end the long-standing prohibition on marijuana. If passed, this will remove marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act. Cannabis would then be regulated in much the same way as is tobacco. This could be it! That is, if it becomes a bill and gets passed, which remains to be seen. Still, this is makes it a real possibility!
